Ah this was my favorite one u w u" Definitely a new challenge too. I've NEVER drawn sea animals in my life. And if I have, they were crappy attempts |D
New techniques that I've applied here are the bouncing light and overlay layer. And to tell you the truth, it does make a big difference when you apply it to your artworks. It adds a more realistic feel to the atmosphere. The overlay tool does the same affect too, but it blends the colors (like the very tip of the hair or the hammerhead shark at the bottom which was overlayed with dark blue with a softer brush tool)

I would love to say more about this but I'll just say this shortly: I had a lot of fun with this artwork. It definitely challenged me to do something different rather than my normal flat artworks and it's a bigger leap from my first CG for the book. u w u"

Program: Easy Paint Tool Sai (watercolor, marker, airbrush, soft brush tool, soft eraser tool; overlay layers, luminosity layers)

I love the sea turtle so much! It's so nice and the other sea animals are so cute! I love the glowing jellyfishes, ehehe.
